2010 feature: NELMAC Courtyard
Each year, through the Growables event, a designated area of Founders Heritage Park is transformed. In 2010 it was the space adjacent to Founders Brewery. Previously this space would be very boggy in the wet and throughout winter, which limited its use. Now, thanks to great work done by the NELMAC team, it has been transformed into an all-weather landscaped courtyard, surrounded by gardens full of edibles and a pizza oven. Needless to say, it is now used all year round!
